Nachthunds
Description: Nachthunds are canine like monstrosities under the command of strong spell casting creatures similar to Hags. They thrive in darkness and threaten both the physical and mental health of their victims. These shadow bound and snarling creatures attack in packs where they plot and execute ambushes in the small hours of the night. Those who manage to survive an attack with these monsters often preserve their physical body but lose their minds to insanity.

Pack Tactics: The Nachthund has Advantage on all attack rolls against an opponent if at least one of the Nachthund’s allies is within 5’ of the creature and the ally is not incapacitated.
Actions:
Nightmarish Bite: Melee weapon attack; +6 to hit, reach 5’, one target. Hit: 11 (1D6 Necrotic + 1D6+4 Piercing damage. If the target is a creature it must succeed a DC 15 Strength Save or be knocked prone.
Temporal Howl (Recharge 5-6). The Nachthund unleashes a powerful howl affecting all within a 20’ sphere centered on the Nachthund. Each creature within that area must succeed a DC 13 Wisdom Save or suffer 18 (4D8) Psychic damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
