Igu

The Igu is an Akuktuq crafted weapon crafted out of the bone from hilt to blade. Some finer crafted ones will have a handle of bone but a blade of obsidian. These melee weapons don’t have much impact in the whale hunts because they can be easily lost while traveling through the water but outside of the water this is one of the favored tools of the race. This sword is used in many of the fights against creatures as well as their main tool of use. No matter what blade this weapon possesses you can make sure it will be one of the sharpest blades you have encountered.
