Tabletop Totality and the future forward!

The future like for many characters in the TTRPG world is ever changing. Dungeons and Dragons was once such a comfort for us here at Tabletop Totality and with our love of the game, we sought to create original content for the world's most popular tabletop game, but with the release of the proposed Open Gaming License, we have decided to take a different path forward as it doesn't make sense for us to continue creating content for a system / organization that doesn't value the creation and worse yet, could take it from us at a future date. We can't take that chance and frankly, we are not willing to take it.

Are we discouraged? No, I'd say if anything, we are disappointed but not deterred. What this has done, is change our perspective and timeline as well as the goal of some of our bigger projects. Our focus as a group now is going to be the creation of our own original gaming system, in which the Adventures in Thistledown book will be the accompanying setting / game module for said system. We have a back catalogue of content that we made for 5e that will continue to release here for

the community to use as you'd like but our priority will be our game. We will also continue our TTRPG Discovery series in which we deep dive into new RPGs and show new players the ropes. Finally there will be podcasts, live plays and events for charities like ExtraLife.

Our Patreon will be the hub for our exclusive content and behind the scenes / play testing of our new game, so be sure to follow along if you are interested in seeing what we come up with.

Finally, we would like to take a moment to announce that Steven has parted ways with Tabletop Totality amicably. We thank him for all of his work over these past few years. Fret not, he will still be making appearances in our games and discussions and we are all still great friends. We'd like to wish Steven the best in his ventures and thank him again for all of his efforts in making Tabletop Totality happen.

With that said, please join us on this new goal forward and we hope you enjoy it as much as we sure will.

As always, Keep Adventuring!
